Check out the latest release "Let it Rain (Sy Young Mix)" from Ian Holmes II. The song was originally recorded in 2007 at Sy Young Studio in Allentown, Pa and has been re-mixed and re-mastered by Scott "Sy" Young for Sy Young Productions in 2021. Co-produced by Scott "Sy" Young and Ian Holmes II, the music featured Ian Holmes II on piano, Scott "Sy" Young on electronic drums, Jason Wilson on acoustic drums, Matthew Rogers on acoustic guitar, and Ryan "Janke" Estrada on bass guitar. Mix Engineer Carl Cadden James provided assistance with mixing.

     First and foremost I’d like to welcome everyone to the SYP website and I thank you for your interest and support in the music. This marks the inaugural blog post - where I will be sharing insights into my creative process, musical journey, professional history and experience, goals, and thoughts on the music industry.  I welcome you to join the mailing list in order to keep up on the latest SYP news and happenings, releases, and posts. Feel free to follow each of the SYP social media pages (links are along the bottom of each page on the website).  Also, drop a message on the forum - I’d love to hear feedback, questions, or requests for blog topics.  This website is designed by me and managed by me - so there is no barrier between myself and those that support the music that I make. 

     As I continue to prep the upcoming music releases, I will be providing a view into the process through these posts.  I’ll detail my music past and experience candidly.  I’ve had some successes and many, many failures.  I have always viewed failures as learning experiences and one thing that is for sure is that there is no shortage of learning experiences when pursuing a professional music career.  However, you cannot stop educating yourself and growing.  I’m committed to bringing you the best music I can and shining the spotlight directly on this journey.  So come along for the ride - let’s go big and make a mark on this industry!
